B&G Reinforced Soil Structures Saves Time and Money 

Compared to concrete walls our RSS systems save time and money, and deliver a better more stable and seismic proof structure. We can build slopes up to 70 degrees and walls up to 90 degress (vertical).

We design your slope or wall using or proprietary software and stand by you every step of the way with any project that you have. All of our geosynthetics are ISO-Certified and meet the highest standards in quality.

When we build our reinforced soil structures we build them one layer at a time using individual 0.5 thick layers and we reinforce them with high tensile geogrids which increase the sheer strength of the local soils. The local soil used to build our RSS systems can also be lahar.

One issue with concrete walls is that they often fail due to pressure build-up from water. With our reinforced soil structures our drainage systems and Hi-Ten geotextiles make the RSS free-draining and far superior to concrete walls. The knowledge that our reinforced soil structures drain better, and offer much less stress when maintaining them, is a big advantage.

B&G reinforced soil structures can also be finished with numerous types of front facing. A green face is a very good choice, especially in out-lying provinces. They can be built with our geogrid and galvanized mesh facing can be seeded or hydro-seeded to get the reinforced soil structure to green-up rapidly.  This allows the RSS to blend into the mountain side as the structure basically becomes part of the local landscape. You would never even know a reinforced soil structure was there.

We also offer other types of hard facing such as BrownBlock and GreenStone. These are modular blocks, made of local soil, clay, or adobe concrete. You can have your choice of surface finish and color to suit your project.

Just like our MSE (Mechanically Stabilized Earth) walls, we can also offer reinforced panels for your facing which are made of concrete. These are well suited for urban areas like bridge abutments, bypass roads, flyovers, and MRT's.

Highways Can Easily Be Widened and/or Repaired Using our RSS Systems

Another major advantage to using our reinforced soil structures in Mindanao is that they can be used to repair and/or widen highways. This is especially valuable when you want to widen highways quickly and with ease. And where there are bridges present, RSS systems can also be used for the bridge abutments with no need for additional and extensive piling.
