The B&G Vinyl Sheet Piles are typically 12m long,  but we can make them to any length that is required. For example, we can make them 11m long so there is less waste on site, or 13m long so splicing of the sheet piles is not needed.

The standard width of our Vinyl PVC Sheet Pile is 457mm, which is 18 inches. Steel sheet piles on the other hand are only 400mm wide - this means that with B&G Vinyl Sheet Piles less of them are needed compared to steel sheet piles to do the same job. This is a big advantage to any contractor that installs sheet piles.

Equipment Needed To Install B&G PVC Vinyl Sheet Piles

Another big advantage to using our sheet piles is the ease of installation. To install our PVC Sheet Piles all your basically need is a vibrating hammer. If there are any obstructions then all that is needed is to add an attachment such as an easy-mandrel and/or a chisel attachment.

The installation can be done by suspending a vibrating hammer from a backhoe or small crane. In addition our PVC Vinyl Sheet Piles can also be compression driven by using the bucket of a backhoe if there is a presence of soft and loose soils.

With the ability to easily interlock our sheet piles it is easy and fast to create a integral barrier or wall for flood defense.
